Match report from Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
Last round for 2024 – What a season it has been. This round was amazing – with a number of really solid
scores – the course was in fair condition -  Amazing turnout with 35 playing.  A couple of drops of rain on the drive down and a quick passing patch during the round, but after that the sun came out and it was very pleasant. Eagle Ridge is a tough course, but a number of our playing group were able to hit it in the 30’s.
Ferrets for the day,
Well done Kurt Hendrix on the 15th to chip in from 41M, solid off the green putt by Brod Sykes on the 2nd and Glen on the 16th. Well done to you all.
Longest Drive 18th hole – Playing 417M with some help of a downhill slope.  Matt secured the A Grade prize, with Brod Sykes taking out the B Grade and Paul McIntosh taking out C Grade.
Congratulations to you all.
NTP 6th – Incredible hole – 151 M uphill with a moonscape of bunkers and a 2 tiered green. This round Andy Moule took home the chocolates (in our case golf balls). Well done.
NTP 8th – 134 M downhill. Very easy to underestimate this hole and a couple of my playing group ended in the bunkers. Well played SIR REG!!
NTP 11th – 138M with water to the left, bunkers to the back and  trouble on the right – Scott Drummond stepped up and put it on the dance floor to take out the hole. Congratulations Scott.
Eagle Ridge is a course that is made to test the player – a great layout and depending on your relationship with your clubs on the day, can be a nightmare or a dream. Some great scores on the day.

And (drum role) our NAGA Pink Jacket for Round 11 Eagle Ridge is
 Mick West with 18 points for the day. 
This round was the final of match play between Michael Goralski and Jarrod Zonneveld – Jarrod came out of the blocks swinging and in the first 5 holes was 1 over the stick and 9 points clear.  He didn’t look back and posted a 35 points for the round to take out the Match Play for 2024 – well done Jarrod!
A big thank you to Kyle and Jake for cooking a beautiful roast lunch back at Mick and Jan's – with the drinks flowing it was a terrific end of season celebration.
Mick and Jan – thanks for hosting a great end of year break up.
Yvonne – the effort and thought you put in throughout the year is extraordinary and appreciated. On Sunday we were spoilt with a great bunch of prizes to cap off the year. 15 raffle bags full of goodies, guess the number of lollies in the jar, trophies, and of course the Les Bryant round by round speech - fantastic.  A great day packed of entertainment.  Amazing! Thank you.
