Stableford Matchplay Competition
The first round of the Matchplay has been played Rosebud Country Club with a few matches still to be played.
Members who havent played their match will play at Cerberus on the 18th May. See below draw for 1st round matches.
If your not able to play either game one of the emergency members will be added to the draw.
Winners of each match move through to the next round which will be played at Lang Lang on the 22nd June.
The win will be awarded to the player from each match who has the most Stableford points on the day.
After all matches are completed names will be drawn for the 2nd round & posted on website.

Captains Report Rosebud 13th April 2025
Match report from Rosebud Country Club.
Third round for 2025 was played at stunning Rosebud Country Club. Another solid turn out with 37 players on the day. Course was great, greens were pretty and made for a challenging round. Pleasant weather for a game of golf with lunch back at The Peninsular Club where presentation, fines and raffles were conducted.
This round we had 3 grades (A – 0-18) (B – 19-27) and C Grade and (28+).
Longest Drive 13th Hole.
A Grade was taken out by Blake Hogan-Keogh.
Glen Boyington (although looking under the weather at pre briefing) belted one to take out B Grade.
C Grade was claimed by Mick Wood. Well done to you all.
NTP are being awarded on all Par 3’s in 2025 – 4 this round
Hole 4 – Our Sherriff did the best here, well done Peter Harink,
Hole 8 – Well Done to Glen Boyington.
Hole 12 – Blake Hogan-Keogh, What a great round.
Hole 14 – Brendan Dobson – well done top shot.
Ferrets – any club any shot off the green counts!
Only the president Mick G holed one off the green this round – Hole 13 well done.
